I’ve been working on my first book for a very long time. Its based on a time in my life which makes the story harder to tell at times. As the writer, I know all there is to know. One of the things I love about writing is discovering the story, creating the world and the characters. This time around I have all of that information but the challenge is mining this story for the interesting things. Just because something really happened doesn’t make it interesting – especially to anyone else but me. But I’ve started it and made some great progress so I’ll finish it. Hopefully soon!
